- Marisha Dixit Joshi, lead singer and Director at the Music and Melodies band, is from Udaipur, Rajasthan.
- She holds a Master’s degree in Music and was awarded a Gold Medal for her academic excellence in the field of Music.
- Music has been a part of Marisha’s life for as long as she can remember.
- Born into a musical family in Udaipur, she grew up surrounded by melodies — watching her grandfather and father perform was her earliest inspiration.
- Under the guidance of her gurus, Pt. Sadashiv Ji Gautam and Ustad Faiyaz Khan Mansoori ji, her training in classical music deepened.
- She also honed her skills at Jasraj School of Music, Mumbai, also learning from Pt. Robin Chatterjee and Prem Ji Bhandari.
